Great location, friendly staff.

Liked: Excellent location, friendly staff, clean rooms.
Disliked: No shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom made life a little harder and is something you would normally expect in a 4-star hotel.

Bed bugs, don’t stay here!

Liked: The hotel seemed lovely and the staff were fantastic. However, I woke up in the morning covered in bites from bed bugs. Don’t recommend this hotel at all!

Excellent!

Liked: The property location was fabulous for exploring Porto, all the staff were really friendly and very helpful and obliging, we had complimentary pastel de nata and port . The hotel was clean and tidy and we loved it . The rooms were clean and tidy with everything we needed . Breakfast was also great and on one of our days the hotel offered us a pack up as we had an early start. The only negative was the room we stayed in was at the front of the hotel and was on the main road so a little noisy at times, so if you prefer it quiet room you can request this . We could have changed rooms but weren’t that bothered. Gabrielle who was on reception was extremely helpful and so lovely and knowledgeable with anything we asked . Overall a great stay at this hotel I would certainly recommend it.

Exceptional

It was a good place...

Liked: We liked the view. The shower water pressure was great, so was the hot water. My partner likes it scalding hot and it went up to that temperature. We were pleased. The hotel was in a good location, close to all the necessary sightseeing areas for tourists, close to the shops and cafes. The bed was super comfy too, especially the pillows!
Disliked: We had tiny ants crawling along the wall up on the desk, by the TV. We got grossed out a bit when we noticed them. They were tiny so you wouldn't see them just by glancing over the room.The bathroom had the door that was sliding (meaning there are gaps, the doors don't fully shut). The glass doors for toilet itself, or should i say "partitions", were odd because they were transparent. I know my partner for 8yrs now but i still don't want to see him poo in HD when I brush my teeth if that makes sense 😆
