High potential of the hotel....
Liked: The service of the Latin american guys
Disliked: The service at the arrival. Not very enthusiastic or passionate to suppport a tourist who doesn’t know everything about the place

Liked: Love everything about The Zamora. Beautiful, Clean, Friendly staff
Disliked: Having to valet park every single time you run an errand or need something out of your car seems silly especially when there is always parking available

Luxury hotel in Paradise
Liked: This property is in a great location with its own beach access across the road. The hotel is immaculate, smells amazing, rooms are spacious, mattresses are so comfortable. The pool area is clean, great bar. New outdoor furniture. The food in the restaurant is excellent.
Disliked: There isn’t really anything I can say bad about out this hotel. When we stayed the lobby was being renovated but there was no inconvenience to guests. I can’t wait to go back and see it finished.

Comfortable and Clean with a...
Liked: Fortunately, the ongoing construction fully ceased while we were there. Also, the hotel was minimally occupied, so we truly loved the peace and quiet. The food in the onsite restaurant was mostly terrific, and the room was perfect except for that huge, odd opening in the wall between the bedroom and the bathroom. I think they were trying to emphasize the truly exceptional view, but there is something to be said about the value of privacy. The bedding was excellent, and we slept very, very well. Also, the shower was absolutely. terrific! We also loved the Air Rabbit air conditioning system and thought that the room was really nice. The beach is conveniently right across the street.
Disliked: There were no bellmen to help with luggage No room service is available, and the rooms have no phones to reach the front desk.

Disliked: We have been coming here for 3 years now and we have nothing but great experiences. However, this year was a little different. I understand the need to improve, change and upgrade the hotel during the “slow” season which we visit but a little reminder or talk about it would have been nice. Like” as you can see we are undoing some renovations, so they typically begin around 8 and end around 3-4. We don’t have this or you have to go this way” nothing like that happened or was discussed. We plan and book this trip in February of every year and prepay for everything then as well. When we arrived this year, I was charged for everything again! I paid in February then they charged me again even more than my room was! I understand the hold for the room but this was way more than the room and could have ruined our vacation if not having alternate/backup plans for funds. When we asked at check in the women could not have been bothered by it and proceeded to tell us about the elevator. I shows the booking from February, the charge from February and they insisted that they did not charge me. Yet, I provided the alert I received from my credit card and my credit card pending amounts and that it showed there and she did not do anything or bill me for anything and it’s not showing on there end and that I should contact my bank. He did not apologize or take ownership of the situation. I work in a customer service space as a bank manager, so I understand taking accountability for things but she did not and didn’t care about it. When we asked the manager about it she stated she thinks she remembers our name and it sounds familiar but again she didn’t apologize about it either. I needed to wait a whole 5 business days for the charge to be reversed back out and now it’s pending again! Like u stated earlier, I understand the upgrading but I feel like that’s the entire focus and lobby leadership and experience have gone to the waste side due to the projects.
