Disliked: 5 star hotel???? Not even close. I’ve stayed in 3 star hotels in India Bangladesh and China that were far better. Bed uncomfortable, Bathroom dirty,dated furniture and poorly maintained. Noisy due close to lift lobby and adjoining room occupants toilet which we heard the occupants throwing up all night long…glad they had a good time. Needed earplugs, Bed headboards filthy, Cleanliness of room shocking. Staff were lazy and unconcerned and unmotivated, a fault of upper management. This hotel can no longer live on its coat tails as a famous old landmark in the city. It’s hey day may have been when Robert Menzies and Gregory Peck stayed but no longer. It is a real shame as it has so much potential geographically and with such a beautiful building. Poor management is its downfall overall.

Liked: Loved the building and it's absolutely stunning inside. Room was spacious and well enough appointed for an overnight stay. Floors are a bit creaky but otherwise good.

Fabulous Hotel, great location

Liked: Absolutely loved our stay at the Windsor Hotel. We went to see the Tina Turner show nearby so it was just fabulous to be able to rest before and not have far to travel. My husband has just had open heart surgery so it was important for us to be close. The room was spacious and comfortable, breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Great value all round. Also loved reading about the history.
Disliked: Nothing it was perfect
