We stayed to explore Melbourne...

Liked: The location was great and we love the heritage of the building, that is why we chose it plus the ad looked like the room would be amazing. The staff were welcoming and friendly.
Disliked: The beds need updating. For the price, we were REALLY disappointed. When you travel, the first thing you want is a really comfy bed. Unfortunately, it was not. It was old, hard and sagging. Dressed nice but very uncomfortable. The air-conditioner in the main bedroom was not functioning well and they provided UHT milk in the fridge not fresh milk. There was no room service for breakfast. The shower was over the bath and the shower head was tiny, not a big fancy rain shower head which you would expect. Very disappointed with the quality of the room fit out (not the building as it is gorgeous) especially for the top price paid for the suite. The parking cost on top of our accommodation was $70 a day. REDICULOUS. Catch a train!!

Disliked: Cleanliness in bathroom lots of dust under sink noticed while bathing.Bottle of water in bar fridge had been opened seal broken carpet in entryway needed a good clean/steam.Shower gel ran out after first day in room when cleaning these things need to be checked.Poor ventilation in bathroom this should not be an issue for the Windsor.A cheap motel possibly.For the price paid I believe all these things should have been done to a very good standard before clients arrival.Sad to see the Windsor trading down .The sugar and coffee were old and hard as a rock another thing not checked or looked at.
