Disliked: I heard my neighbors talking before they went to sleep and once they woke up. The walls could have used more insulation for sure.

Liked: The room was spacious and very comfortable. I loved the separate area with the desk, couch, fridge, microwave, and nice countertop for our stuff.The breakfast was also very good, not just muffins and fruit - there was eggs, sausage, waffles......
Disliked: It was clean, but had a bit of a mildew smell in the bathroom. It wasn't visible or bad enough to say anything, as we were busy enjoying our grandkids.

Liked: Always a great stay at The Hotel Salem. Clean rooms, the staff are friendly and breakfast is always good! Area seems secure and the beds are pretty comfortable. This has been my favorite place to stay in Salem when I come to visit my mom.
Disliked: Love the shower pressure! However, the water was barely warm this visit, both evening and morning showers. Even my significant other said the water was cool and he takes tepid showers. I always appreciate a nice shower here because we come to help my mom that lives local and the jobs we help with are usually cold and wet, dirty or both.
