Liked: The place was beautiful, the staff was over-the-top friendly and helpful, the room was cozy and tasteful, and an easy walk to pretty much everything.

Liked: Staff was super friendly and welcoming, especially Jessica. Breakfast was unique and delicious. The historic hotel is wonderfully decorated and maintained. The location is ideal for exploring Portsmouth.

Liked: Location is excellent! We walked everywhere. Never had to use our car during our stay.
Disliked: Had a problem with shower.

Liked: Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Staff was accommodating. Beds were tremendously comfortable. Common rooms were cozy and inviting (we were there during a very cold weekend). Loved the wallpaper.
Disliked: Personsl preference - some of the decor.
