Lovely, welcoming and food was...
Liked: Room, Dinner and breakfast were all super, Lovely atmosphere in the pub with the fire and a lovely meal. Room was clean, comfy and just what was advertised

Very comfortable, we would recommend...
Liked: The location and breakfast were excellent. The food generally was superb. The staff were great and the pub generally a very high standard, warm and most inviting. A great place.
Disliked: If I have a complaint, it is that the room was small and dark. The large bed which we wanted, filled the available space. But the room was spotlessly clean and provided all the necessary facilities.

a wonderful weekend away
Liked: Beautiful place to stay. Authentic British Pub and Restaurant with beautiful, and clean rooms. This is the third time we have stayed and we will be back again. the staff were all extremely friendly and welcoming. The food was wonderful!
Disliked: Absolutely nothing!

Good venue, largish rooms with...
Liked: Meals generally good. Pity the muesli was very hard and had to stop eating it for fear of as large denture bill.
Disliked: Room generally good but walk in shower resulted in water in most of the bathroom. The fire alarm system has a bright bright light which keeps you awake at night,, so much so, they provide a mask for you to put on in an attempt to alleviate it. I would have thought a much lower wattage bulb was a better answer.
