Fantastic food
Liked: Room was separate from the pub. Modern and looked new. Comfortable. We had doors to outside area in garden with a table and chairs. Food fantastic, worth the money. Friendly staff. Helped provide something to eat for diabetic, even though pub closed early Sunday, which we didn’t know
Disliked: Noise at 5am Monday morning of bins/rubbish preparation we can only guess. Was not told pub closed early Sunday night. Monday morning breakfast nicer than Sunday morning. Greasy.

If a light room is...
Liked: It’s a really lovely pub and it was clean. Breakfast very good. Powerful shower. Spacious. If it wasn’t for below it would be 10/10.
Disliked: Our sleep was awful. We were in the family room with a bright green light over the door. It meant our toddler who is used to a dark room couldn’t sleep. Which means we couldn’t sleep. I’ve seen others mention it, but it really is a very bright light. You can practically read a book it’s that bright. There are very cheap eye masks left in the room which is a nice touch: but perhaps leave in package as I initially thought someone had left it there!!

Very good
Liked: Breakfast was very tasty, hot, freshly cooked with good quality ingredients and delivered with a smile. Coffee was fresh and good quality. My room was kindly changed due to the distance from the pub/restaurant as I use a wheelchair. I think it was a little bigger than I would have been allocated as it also had a sofa bed. The rooms are all on the ground floor so I did not need to use a lift.
Disliked: I found it particularly tricky to navigate the path to and from the restaurant due to large stone gravel having spilled over from the car park onto the path. I spent several minutes on both evenings and mornings clearing gravel with my good foot. I understand that the pub clientele do not realise the implications for wheelchair users when they park so close to the narrow path and deposit gravel on it however I would expect it to be cleared in preparation for a wheelchair user who has messaged ahead. Although there is a designated Disabled parking space it is only the width of a car so there is gravel to navigate around the car.
