The hotel is great fun, but the room itself sucked. Try to request a newly renovated room upon booking.

Liked: Great staff (shout out to Antoine at Public Bar); good music at pool; nice lobby; late checkout 12:30.
Disliked: Room lighting is terrible; room had a weird smell; awful picture above bed of a junked out rocker type; very expensive room service; thin walls.

Great hotel, would definitely stay...

Liked: Great location for tourist. Comfortable bed, amazing staff.
Disliked: Bathrooms were very small, not a lot of lighting at night in the room.

Wonderful

Liked: The facilities are beautiful, especially the lobby and pool area. It was quiet and we enjoyed the on-prem restaurants. Felt very safe even being on the strip.
Disliked: No coffee in the room and the charge for espresso at the restaurant was ridiculous!! We accidentally tipped even though there was an added service charge and try as I might, I couldn’t get anyone to give me a refund.

Old Hollywood glamour meets modern...

Liked: Originally only flying into LA and going onward to Vegas, we changed our plans when we found a show we wanted to see in Hollywood… and am I glad we did because starting our holiday at The Hollywood Roosevelt really set the standard! Stunning decor, mesmerising history, friendly staff and super convenient.
Disliked: Our stay was not long enough!… How I wish we had booked more time in LA

Liked: It’s very good location, just opposite the main theatres like , Chinese theatre and the Dolby Theatre.Nice swimming pool.
Disliked: When arrived didn’t have an iron board or an iron in the room so I I could get prepared for my evening but shortly the housekeeping helped me toFind one .

Liked: History. It’s just a beautiful structure and filled with artifacts and locations we’ve grown up seeing or hearing about. They continue to preserve this wonderful location and staff it with friendly people whose focus really is making your stay as pleasant as possible.
Disliked: They don’t use “bottom sheets” so you wake up nightly with your feet tangled in the bedding, and I have no idea how to stuff the flat sheet back at 3am so I can get back to sleep.
