Nice hotel

Liked: Close to central station, only 10 minutes walk. All the attractions within easy access, clean and comfortable. Nice hotel. We would stay again. The receptionist at the check in was very helpful and provided a lot of information.
Disliked: Smell of weed at the entrance. Breakfast lack of variety, have to go to the sister hotel Highlander for the breakfast.

We had a fabulous stay...

Liked: The hotel was spotless in reception and through to the rooms. We were in two triple rooms and although the rooms were on the small side they made brilliant use of the space so never felt cramped. The location was excellent, right in the centre but tucked away so didn’t hear any noise.
Disliked: Nothing!

Liked: Location and style
Disliked: The double bed was much too big for the room, we were all shuffling round it. There was nowhere to unpack or to store my luggage. Expensive for what is was - we booked through Booking.Com and paid for breakfast that we didn’t get.

Quaint and just a generally...

Liked: Very close to the station and all the local sights
Disliked: A bit noisy at the front in the morning with a lorry delivering to the restaurant opposite

Great Family Stay!

Liked: We loved our stay at highland house--the expanded bedroom with minibar was exactly the size we needed traveling with one kiddo and having access to a little more room! The location was great, tucked away but feet from the action if needed, and so convenient to a'dam centraal. We were able to walk to everywhere in the city, take scenic and shopping routes and have access to great food. The staff were lovely, helped with bags and taxi's and the room was clean and well stocked for all out needs.
