Liked: Hotel is within walking distance from the train station and opposite the beach and walk to the harbour and Princess Theatre.Bus stops are very close to travel towards Paignton and Brixham or into the town centre or Babbacombe/St Marychurch.Bedroom was spacious and clean, tea and coffee available in the room. Breakfast is excellent!
Disliked: Bedroom was cold (stay December) heating only on for a short period of time.Will stay again but remember to bring winter pj's next time.

Poor excuse for a ‘hotel’...

Liked: The breakfast was good. The view was good too, apart from the fact most of the windows had blown, fogged up glazing.
Disliked: We booked a ground floor room (as my wife have issues with her knees)with its own entrance, we were told that booking.com should not advertise these rooms as they only have two of them. When I looked there in fact 4 of them. The heating is centrally controlled, resulting in the room being very cold overnight. There floors are extremely noisy and a guest occupying the room above constantly walked around from 2am until gone 4.30am, so we had very little sleep. The rooms are very dated and need refurbished I wish I had read the reviews before booking as I certainly wouldn’t have booked in the first place. Glad to say, I won’t be returning!
