Sitting alongside Hobart's waterfront the historic Henry Jones Art Hotel offers luxurious rooms offering water or courtyard views. The hotel is set in a row of renovated 1820s warehouses and a former IXL jam factory. It offers a bar and features a variety of original artworks throughout the property. Henry Jones Art Hotel is located beside Victoria Dock offering views of Mount Wellington and Fisherman's Wharf. It is 2 minutes' from Salamanca Place and Hobart CBD (Central Business District). Each of the air conditioned guest rooms offers a king-size bed a flat-screen TV and a DVD player. Superb

Liked: Wonderful stay. Staff were excellent. The restaurant was amazing. The bar with live music, fun. The room was comfortable, and the bathroom was enormous. We had a lovely harbour view to boot.
Disliked: Be aware that parking is not free and there is no street parking.

From the moment of arrival...

Liked: It had a quirkiness about it that took if beyond being another comfortable hotel. The staff were all characters in their own right and added to the flavour of the hotel. Everyone was so helpful and attentive to our needs the whole experience was one of comfort.
Disliked: Visitors need to be ware that it is necessary to pre-book the hotel’s restaurant due to its popularity. In order to achieve a second visit while we were there the staff went out of their way to create availability on a busy Saturday night.
