Great food, staff and location.

Liked: Location is great. Staff were wonderful. Meals at the restaurant were delicious.
Disliked: Room is very basic. Bed uncomfortable. We were above the pub toilets and the hand dryer is very noisy. No fridge in room.

Disappointing compared with our Inn...

Liked: Dinner was nice but we were unable to use a voucher we had in the menu we choose although it did not state this on the menu
Disliked: The room was cold and the walls were dirty (Room 2)

Superb

Liked: Building and grounds are beautiful. Staff were wonderful . Loved the breakfast and the set up of it. Very comfortable bed and a good size room.
Disliked: Musty smell in bedroom. Would have liked a bath in the room and to be able to open windows.

Disappointed

Liked: Slept well in the room
Disliked: Room wash basin plug broken/fixed in placeRoom shower hot water pressure very low difficult to regulate for a reasonable water flow from the shower headWe were looking forward to the breakfast but unfortunately the breakfast was not the usual standard. We waited 10 minutes for a staff member to appear to take a service order. Tea/coffee cups on the self serve were dirty, No hot water available for a tea pot. Generally poor service.We have stayed here 5 times previously and have always been pleased with everything unfortunately on this occasion we were dissatisfied
