Total relaxation in a graet...

Liked: Second time of staying, real old style luxury and of course the spa and location are top class.
Disliked: Nor really a complaint but the restaurant is not quite the best, we walked down to Fistral beach to Rick Steins on the second night.

Lovely hotel in beachside location

Liked: Great location overlooking Fistral beach with immediate access to beachside walks, comfortable bedrooms with good-sized beds, plenty of large public sitting-room areas with soft sofas (ok for well-behaved dogs and young children), good quality food and choice of restaurants, very good spa, plenty of car parking space, helpful and professional staff. Altogether lovely atmosphere.
Disliked: Nothing disappointed.

Exceptional

Absolutely magical experience

Liked: It was home away from home. So cosy, a relaxing atmosphere and warm friendly staff. The amenities were outstanding and food (breakfast especially, was local fresh quality . The staff were so friendly and welcoming, making us at ease and feel well looked after. We’ve already booked to come back for our anniversary, we were so impressed and happy with our stay!
Disliked: Unfortunately a group of people in a room close to us were having a loud party till midnight which did make it difficult to fall asleep, how we the noise did die down after a while. The bed and room was absolutely exceptional so made up for this! One other minor thing was the deck restaurant was quite cold, so we had to eat with coats on.

Liked: 5 star service ad you would expect. Hotel facilities were fabulous. One of the best Spas I have used. All the team were so helpful, special mention to Ricky who really looked after us in the restaurant

Beautiful old hotel in a...

Liked: Old school luxury in this beautiful building, everything you need in your room which was spacious and super comfortable. Food and service around the hotel excellent. Then to top it off… the spa facilities. Full use of both the adults only under the hotel, then the aqua club overlooking fistral… stunning!!
Disliked: Room was too warm!!

Really enjoyed our time at...

Liked: Breakfast was excellent, the staff were all very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Room was small and the view across the car park was less than amazing.
