Peaceful overnight stay

Liked: The welcome from the staff was great, so friendly and personable. We loved the room - number 4. It was cute and cosy, and despite being at the back of the property by the car park, it was incredibly quiet. It did help that January is a quiet time, though. Bed was very comfortable, and we slept well with the hum of the trains passing overhead. Bathroom was newly decorated, beautiful tiles, and very clean.Overall the room was perfect for an overnight stay.Parking was free, and there's lots of spaces, which is a huge plus.Room was cosy with soft lighting and radiators that heat up within minutes, perfect for a cold winters night.We wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
Disliked: The coffee cups and spoons needed a deep clean, as did the edges of the room - needed a really good hoover. That is my only complaint

Liked: Room was very spacious and had everything we needed. Breakfast was served in a relaxed atmosphere with lovely views. Dinner was superb with a varied menuManager (we think) was very welcoming and friendly. He took time to speak to us as we checked in and also after dinner.
