Liked: It took two days to get the towel rail working so the bathroom was very cold until they sorted it
Disliked: The breakfast was a disappointment. No fresh fruit or yogurt and I was not allowed porridge if I also wanted fried egg and bacon. Also very limited on providing toast.

Disliked: A little noisy on the side close to the railway line

Disliked: Over priced for the room, dated room. Staff members gave wrong keys, then missed a key. Seemed a bit manic. For over £100 a night I would expect a bit more calm and a more modern space.

Just what was needed!

Liked: Great location and good atmosphere. Staff friendly and room nice and spacious for a toddler!
Disliked: Breakfast was good but there was a delay as there was only one lady serving/ cooking - felt for her there were a few tables/ people checking out and she having to do it all on her own.

Liked: We love the location of this hotel,Food is always nice,Lovely cosy atmosphere.Great views!! Right under the bridge! Great links with the train in and out of the city.Fantastic bars and restaurants along the front.
Disliked: We stayed in the accessible room in the attatched building. The bed was so hard. Awful nights sleep. Even though a sign on the door saying the door bangs please close gently, People don't. That needs fixing not a sign. Constantly being banged closed. On arrival we had to prop the outdoor door open and our room door open as the smell of bleach was unreal! When we returned later in the evening around 11pm it still smelled really bad of bleach. My husband has a sleep apnea machine and when we got home he changed his filter and it absolutely stank of bleach! So we were breathing that in all night. It really was so strong. But hotel was fully booked. We stay here every year in December and have for the last 10 years, We love this little pub. But that mattress was so hard and the banging door needs sorting. Some conditioner aswell as shampoo would be nice :-)
