Liked: the room was lovely and the food excellent the staff were friendly and helpful
Disliked: there was not enough staff. they were brilliant but were run off their feet. it was a very busy weekend

For a 3 star hotel...

Liked: Location was very handy for shops and restaurants.Breakfast was good. Staff very friendly and helpful. The bar area was lovely and decorative…good atmosphere. Room had everything we needed.
Disliked: Bathroom was a little tired looking….although clean.

Liked: LocationBreakfastStaff were helpful and friendly.
Disliked: Bed could have been biggerWe sat in the bar and the door into the pub was left ajar all evening, this which meant that it was always a bit chilly. Eventually we moved to the back of the bar. We had a comfort room, and felt the bed could have been a bit bigger.

good and bad

Liked: comfy bed and lovely warm room.
Disliked: food in restaurant was mediocre and not very hot and, certain items unavailable. The car park which is not big was correctly restricted to residents. HOWEVER staff were also parking there which really is not acceptable

A perfect 24 hr stay...

Liked: Perfect location for 1 night visiting Harrogate. The bar and restaurant was lovely and festive and we enjoyed the breakfast.
Disliked: If I’m being really picky there was just a few previous damp marks on our bedroom ceiling that could do with a touch up.

The hotel felt welcoming and...

Liked: The attitude of all of the staff - nothing was too much trouble even when they were clearly very busy. The location was nice and central and the buffet breakfast was more than adequate and always fully stocked/ topped up etc.
Disliked: Parking at the hotel car park couldn’t always be guaranteed due to the high number of guests.
