What we expected

Liked: The staff and food were excellent and we enjoyed our stay very much. This is not the first time we have eaten here but the first time we have stayed overnight.
Disliked: Nothing comes to mind, it was as expected

pleasant stay, would be better...

Liked: Breakfast good on the first morning, toast tea and quantity, Evening meal was good nice atmosphere in pub as well as good pub food. The bed room was warm and bed comfortable good place to relax in.
Disliked: bathroom a little tired around edges, silicon work around bath requires re-doing, water damaging skirting and making bedroom carpet wet through from bath, fixed plug on basin myself to get it to pop up. Also bath could do with decent grab rails being fitted, my Father did not use bath because there were none. Breakfast less than day before, toast and tea cold, tea pot not warmed first before putting water and tea bags in so tepid tea served twice that morning.

Liked: the location is pleasant and the pub is pretty with great potential- but…
Disliked: the staff were shockingly poor. when i arrived it took a full five minutes for even my existence to be acknowledged- even though the staff were standing right in front of me at the other side of the bar. the bed was as hard as a rock, the bath was filthy. the manager was astonishingly rude- when i attempted to give him feedback he said, and i quote, ‘ i’ bored of this- im going’ i am still somewhat speechless

Liked: Everything apart from as a 6ft 2” tall guy I struggled to shower but I could manage

Liked: Comfortable room and an excellent breakfast.
Disliked: The sink had multiple cracks but this didn't distract too much from our stay. The room was clean, comfortable and warm.

Disliked: The shower in the room was by a slant roof, my son is 6’2 so he couldn’t stand straight in the shower
