Unexpected treat

Liked: Extras left in the room were unexpected and especially delightful because I arrived late and they created a lovely welcome and comfort.The delicious breakfast (do try the perfect poached eggs) was also a very pleasant experience - another warm connection and welcome.

Disliked: Rooms need updating, blind was broken, window latch did not work, bed could be more comfortable

Would definitely stay again

Liked: Comfortable room and lovely breakfast with a very good choice. Lovely touch having a complementary snack and drink tray.
Disliked: Unfortunately some open packs of sandwiches were left in the fridge. Bathroom - toilet was dirty and shower had a lot of black mould around the tiles

very homely place to stay

Liked: very large comfortable room complementary pack including snacks excellent value for money
Disliked: very short staffed the young lady on the desk also ran the bar and waited the tables .I waited over 10 minutes to check out at 800 am

Perfect hotel and area

Liked: Room is large and full of complimentary items, tea bags, coffee bags, sleep mask, dental care, make up remover wipe and more. Bed was so comfortable. Great breakfast selection and you can order from the menu something warm to eat as part of it. Restaurant is really nice, food was good, atmosphere was great, staff very friendly and accommodating. Extended my stay by another night with ease.
