Lucky find for a couple...

Liked: As a small hotel and restaurant it's utterly fabulous, everything has a very high end feel. The forest room (aptly named) is furnished beautifully. The bed is super comfortable, the shower was a proper deluge, great coffee machine and tea making in the room. My business budget didn't stretch to an evening meal but the menu looked amazing. The breakfast both days was superb, cooked perfectly by Danny who is also the owner, really appreciated that he came in early too so I could be away on time for a work appointment. The staff were all great in fact. Wymeswold is a lovely little village too, although I only really saw it in the dark. Thanks Danny, Sandra and Michael
Disliked: The road was right outside my window which was a bit noisy at rush hour but didn't keep me awake and the fridge (for milk etc.) too but again didn't keep me awake but a bit irritating, I guess I could have switched it off. Minor things really, lovely place.

Liked: The facilities were beautiful, the room is stunning, with extremely friendly and attentive staff
Disliked: Apart from bumping my head on a low ceiling, despite the sign! I couldn't fault it!

Very pleasant and welcoming experience.

Liked: Beautiful room and very friendly staff. Warm on a very cold day outside.Excellent full English breakfast, nicely presented and very tasty. Dining area very interesting historically.Good value for money. Would stay again.
Disliked: Very minor ... no shaver power point in room.
