I like the Hafod Hotel.

Liked: No complaints
Disliked: Being charged £30 for an additional guest which, after objecting, was refunded.

Great staff, great rooms, great...

Liked: Staff were exceptional. Very friendly and helpful. The rooms were amazing, some of the best we’ve ever stayed in. The shower was really nice.
Disliked: Nothing we didn’t like.

Rainy weekend.

Liked: The room was a good size. Lovely shower . The staff and service was good. The food was good. Location lovely. Building very nice. Quiet toom.
Disliked: The bed was like a big marshmallow mattress. It was so soft that you felt like you were going to fall off the bed. The heating was very difficult set up. It wasn't just a thermostat, you pressed buttons, then it asked for a pin number. Couldn't get the bathroom one to work. The drinks were expensive we were charged. £6.50 for a small pepsi and £5.90 for half pint San miguel shandy. The car park was at the rear of the hotel, it was uneven ground , there were properties there. And discarded furniture. Looked scruffy. It was quite a walk down to the Hafod. Down the road without a footpath. We decided to park at the front of the property, which had large lorries going by. So it was not ideal.

Great room, but more attention...

Liked: Great rooms and comfortable beds Shower superbGreat location
Disliked: 3rd stay and always not enough staff on dutybreakfast is not what you’d expect from a premium hotel.. a really basic buffet and full breakfast is not freshly cooked. Finally being asked to tip on the whole cost of stay on checkout inc rooms is frankly outrageous .. a modest 10% tip would have been over £40 and it was embarrassing to having to say no. Tips should be for food and drinks only at the time of dining so you can thank them and show appreciation.

Fantastic night away in lovely...

Liked: Friendly helpful staff nothing too much trouble. They were able to accommodate me asking on the day for a bath rather than shower.Clear instructions about meal times etc.Bed was super comfy room the right temperature and loved the shower gels and toiletries.
Disliked: Struggled with the correct handles to turn to use the bath as no labels and soaked myself and the floor.Had to fill the kettle from the bath as the basin was too small to fit the kettle into. But these were nothing major and caused a laugh.

Great location, night atmosphere in...

Liked: The 2 staff who ran dinner and breakfast were particularly wonderful! The packed lunch which we asked for was great. Thanks
Disliked: The bathroom tap was a bit over excited if turned on to full...!
