Hurry UP!

Liked: The staff were present, and attentive. As I had very little time to get into the finer points of the property I do not have much else to say at the moment, and my travel partner had other plans at the last minute.
Disliked: That I could have been more upset to have lost an umbrella given to me by one the staff members (French) and that I had such a time getting my things out of the hallway; I'm a backpacker and company executive (Texas) and that may be alright.

Great location, quirky decor!

Liked: Great location on a garden square close to Kings Cross Station, quirky and unusual decor which is a nice change to standard in hotels of a similar price. No lift which might be an issue for those large/ heavy suitcases. The complimentary biscuits were a lovely touch with my morning tea.

Liked: Great location. Cozy and cute small hotel. Friendly staff (merci Martin!). Very welcoming spot.
Disliked: Too warm for us in the bedroom/in the hotel. But the staff helped us with that.

Great hotel, but the basement...

Liked: The hotel is lovely, great location and the room was very spacious, cozy, comfortable and clean.
Disliked: Unfortunately we were in the basement room directly under the bar/dining area. Although there were no issues with the room per se. Being directly under the bar which is open 24 hours, we were kept awake with the noise above us (footsteps, banging) due to the lack of soundproofing. This also meant we couldn’t catch up on lost sleep during the day (even with ear plugs) as the noise was worse due to the addition of music and the sound of the underground.
