Liked: Location very close to King Cross station and underground connections to central London. The room was specious, pleasant temperature and a lovely drenching show.
Disliked: Short term disturbance with near by construction work, so disturbed earlier (8.30) than I hoped. But that’s London, any city, always noisy in some form.

Liked: Excellent location. Very stylish and quirky design. Warm welcome. Lots of nice extras like biscotti, gummy bears and corn.
Disliked: The room was very dark and the lighting not sufficient. It was in the basement with little natural light so it was difficult to get a good light for getting ready. They’ve clearly gone for moody over practical! The room was also sweltering hot and despite turning the thermostat down to 10 degrees and then off altogether it took a good 24 hours to cool down to the point we could get a good night sleep. The beds were very soft and neither of us had a good sleep due to the heat, the beds and the noise-lots of banging, water pipe noise and music playing from very early in the morning-upper floors may be better. One other point was that the toilet seat (which was black) was badly chipped with the original whit showing through in multiple places -for a four star hotel this should be replaced. It looks dirty and unhygienic.
