Lovely room great location.

Disliked: Older lady behind the bar very unfriendly and using foul language. Younger girl very friendly.

Liked: A clean comfortable good sized room. Considering it's a pub in a central location, it was very quiet.

Great Value, great if you...
Liked: The room, was spacious and it was a nice surprise to have a bathroom, with a bath! Loved the refreshments area. A great amount of tea bags, milk etc. Felt very cosy and at home! Great sized wardrobe and nice side tables. Was also a lovely touch to have complimentary toiletries! staff were helpful.
Disliked: It could have been a little cleaner, bath etc, found a few hairs. Carpet needed hoovering a little more, I think. This is probably me, just being a little nit picky, as have high cleaning standards.

Nice cozy warm and friendly...
Liked: Nice cozy pub with friendly staff. Room was spacious and warm. Quite a bit of complimentary items left out. Large bathroom with shower. Reasonably clean. My only dislike was the stairs as I struggle climbing stairs and no lift. Disabled parking right outside which is free 24 hours. Great location close to all the pubs and restaurants. Definitely would stay again. Shame they don't do breakfast. We didn't get a evening meal so can't comment on food. Dogs are allowed in this pub.
