Overall a good experience.

Liked: Good location…well maintained…beautiful structure… friendly staff
Disliked: We were originally on the 3rd (top) floor. There was a rumbling noise that began at 6:30am that woke us up. The woman at the front desk did not know what the noise was. We were able to change to a room on the second floor. They were very accommodating.

Liked: Breakfast was great, lovely little town, was staying there with friends and family for my daughters wedding and it accommodated us well
Disliked: I really like to have someone come in and make the bed and tidy up, empty garbage etc, I don’t know why this wouldn’t be done in such a nice Inn. Its should be part of the luxury of paying to stay away from home

Pleasant stay but too expensive

Liked: Breakfast was good - the croissants ran out (popular item) but staff replaced them with more shortly.
Disliked: There was a craft fair scheduled for the day of the morning we departed. People were coming in and out of the lobby through the front vestibule frequently. It was consequently very cold while having breakfast unless you were sitting right by the fireplace.

Superb

Wonderful Place!

Liked: It was beautiful from first glance, and only got better! The young lady at check-in was very friendly, with a warm smile. She was still there (and still friendly) upon our return from a concert at Bull Run. The room was clean, and the bed was firm - not lumpy - with plump pillows, not pancakes! Our only regret is that we couldn't experience the gorgeous courtyard or the Forge & Vine! So... I guess we'll have to come back!
Disliked: Can't think of a thing!

Great location expensive

Liked: Liked the location and quietness
Disliked: No coffee facilities or water in room for a hotel of that cost would have been a nice gesture. Also breakfast no where to eat it with tables sat in foyer because of private wedding.

Gorgeous property and rooms, best...

Liked: Beautiful rooms, best hotel decor I’ve seen, beautiful local art in the lobby. The front porch with the rocking chairs is lovely, all decorated for fall.
Disliked: Was hoping for a smart TV, my boyfriend and I are big movie/tv people and love to relax and watch a movie when we stay at hotels. The tv was nice but just offered cable, would have loved a smart TV with streaming services!

Lovely town great location

Liked: Restaurant on property you need a reservation. However they made room for me. It was a wonderful dinner. The room was comfortable and clean. The location was stunning with the rolling fog in the early morning. I loved watching the cows coming to pasture. Lovely place

We enjoyed staying in Groton...

Liked: The inn was very clean and the front desk staff was nice and helpful.
Disliked: Lack of an afternoon reception or snacks. No hot breakfast, plastic ware and no microwave or coffee pot in the room. It was a pretty inn but spartan given the high price per night.
