Plain and simple - exactly...

Liked: Good location and value. Was exactly what you would expect when renting university accommodation for a summer trip.
Disliked: There was only 1 pillow that was very soft and the mattress was very firm, so I needed to use a hoodie as a second pillow.

Convenient, Clean, Spartan.

Liked: it was close to the event I was attending, it was clean and affordable. There was a desk, and wifi. High ceilings and a fan. Clean towels and sheets, and arrival set of shampoo etc. There is a communal laundry with a pay system (although minimum spend is $10, but a load of washing is only 2.5, and same for dryers). Suit people on a budget who are not too precious.
Disliked: There is no disability access on arrival to get to reception one must lug one's suitcase up two flights of stairs. So anyone who has a heavy suitcase will really struggle (i did !). There is a disability elevator on the other side of the building ... but it is not indicated anywhere - and you can not access it until you've check int - and even then, it doesnt work with your swipe card (I can only presume they have a different access card for it or it's a service life). It would be better if it was actually near reception!!
