Warm friendly, would stay again.

Liked: Exceptionally friendly staff, made us feel very welcome. Good location for events at Darlington Hippodrome. Rooms have everything you need. Good private carpark at the rear.
Disliked: Pub does not serve food, however they were happy for us to order takeaway and eat in the pub. They even provided cutlery.

Solo traveller

Liked: Room was clean and sufficient for my needs, small leak from the bottom left of the toilet, but not an issue, plenty of tea/coffee towels and toilet paper delivered most days.
Disliked: Would have been better if you could get streaming TV in your room instead of the usual Freeview

Liked: Friendly staff. Good parking.
Disliked: The bed was terrible. Mattress was at least 10 years old. Felt like 3 or 4 jacket potatoes were left in the bed
