Liked: The understated elegance. Lighting. Decor. No charge for the snacks. Toiletries. Towels. Drinks.
Disliked: Pillows (too flat) , tv (remote didn’t work), clock radio (couldn’t get blue tooth to work, alarm kept going on), toilet (didn’t flush completely). Sitting chair (small uncomfortable)

Liked: Now our favourite nyc hotel. One can tell that De Niro put part of himself into this exceptional hotel. Each room is different, the lounges feel like you are at home and the food and warm service were excellent
Disliked: Restaurant books up quickly and reservations should be made well in advance

Liked: Quiet , friendly and discreet .
Disliked: It is very expensive for a Hotel which doesn’t have the wow factor . It’s more of a living room experience downstairs , cosy but not wow .The rooms are comfortable but the bed itself is just ok , other 5 star Hotels in the city have better .The spa.. which we had high expectations of has no jacuzzi , the steam room wasn’t working in the men’s that day and the gym is fully equipped but smaller than it looks in pictures . We have stayed in high end hotels all over the city and although the staff are lovely , it’s a notch below some of the others for the cost .
