Exceptional

Wonderful stay, but some fixes...

Liked: Great staff, very nice breakfast, beautiful building, Wonderful beds, spa is nice addition
Disliked: The heating in our room wouldn't switch off the first night meaning it was very hot. This was rectified on the 2nd day. A lot of light coming through the thin blinds in the bathroom, causing a lot of light to flood into the bedroom since there was no door. A shame for a room that is not cheap.

Hotel and staff amazing.

Liked: Everything. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was fabulous.
Disliked: There wasn't anything I didn't like.

Incredible stay, didn’t want to...

Liked: The most wonderful stay, beautiful hotel and the staff were exceptional. Room was incredible, Spa was peaceful and very pretty and breakfast was excellent. We didn’t want to leave!
Disliked: Nothing at all. It was excellent

Liked: Breakfast was excellent and my spa treatment was wonderful,staff were lovely,the hotel is of course very old so there is no lift in the building and furnishings are quite dated but that is to be expected,everything was clean and well presented

Lovely relaxing break

Liked: Lovely hotel and spa. Bedroom was fantastic. Grounds are worth exploring. Most staff were lovely and very helpful.
Disliked: Shower drain was blocked - reported it but was not fixed. Another complaint - same as most hotels - is that there was only enough milk for one hot drink each. Considering the price of the room a little bit more milk wouldn’t hurt.

Lovely stay in an above...

Liked: Well located for visiting the Cotswolds. The hotel is in a lovely setting looking out across meadows and the Cotswold hills.The food is of a very high standard and the staff helpful and friendly
