Liked: Aircon worked super well! Especially for the time of year. Construction barely bothered us (we stayed from Wednesday night to Monday morning) however I was on the 8th floor which I think was away from it. Shower had a nice large showerhead which could be moved around with a lot of range. Water pressure from all sources was high and heating was quick. 24 hour reception was a must have for me as I was flying in at 11:30pm
Disliked: If I'm being absolutely picky the sink didn't drain very well but the hotel was not aware of the issue and let me know they would fix it. If I were to be EXTREMELY picky I had requested a black pillow case or linen as I have dyed hair but they only have white linen (which is absolutely perfectly fine, just something to note)

Liked: The breakfast was a huge convenience and our favorite experience. The young friendly staff on our checking out were super helpful and professional. The shower head is the best.

Liked: Hotel is being slowly renovated, so our expectations were not high.Great Southern brand is usually good. Management need to send staff to Dunedin NZ Great Southern to see exceptional staff.
Disliked: Not sure if room709 has been renovated if so poor workmanship. 1.Wool carpet is being eaten by small moths along wall near window along top end of bed. Lots of moths flying around beside bed on window side. 2. Room edges and behind bedside tables needs vacuuming 3. Carpark needs cleaning & fresh air. Dangerous work space for concretor & other workers due to cement dust and debri.
