A very good experience, would...

Liked: Breakfast was excellent as was the bar in the evening.
Disliked: Radiators in our room were not working properly and hot water only coming through as a dribble so not possible to run a bath.

Good food and service

Liked: I can't fault the service or the food. The room decor may not have been what we would have chosen to reflect a building from the 1500s, but each to their own.
Disliked: The main issue was the plumbing (and other) noises from other rooms where guests were getting up at 5am. The room radiator also did not seem to switch off resulting in a very warm bedroom. Leaving the the window open helped, but meant the nearby church clock chimes could wake us up.

Dream New Year's Stay

Liked: Clean room, super comfy bed and great shower
Disliked: The shortbread in the room was so good that we wanted more!

Liked: It was very and the bedroom was very nice with all the lights on in the room
Disliked: Nothing

Lovely large clean room, parking...

Liked: Beautiful room (room 8). Biscuits, bottled water and tea / coffee. Had a table in to work on the PC and a lovely bathroom
Disliked: Breakfast was a little on the small side, not a bad thing. Generally though i would stay again

Liked: Regarding the room, there were menus in the folder .In fact lots of them which made me think certain vegetarian dishes were available -when I went to order I was told the menu had changed . Staff were very helpful, but it would make a big difference if info was up to date.
