Cozy, great location for a...

Liked: Great breakfast, great location, spacious room, great tub, outside heated pool was epic, Healdsburg a great town, coffee was delicious, baked treats
Disliked: Bed was very soft so we didn't sleep well since we sleep on our sides / front. Guess back sleepers would be ok, but I think they could use some new mattresses overall (Novaform from Costco). I'm 6ft6 so may be more pronounced for someone like me, felt like i was bent. Also we couldnt really get hot water in our shower so had to use the tub. Every now and then we could get it hot in the shower but would take 10-15 mins. Thankfully the tubs great

Disappointing customer service

Liked: I did not stay at Grape Leaf, as the owner transferred me to a sister property, due to water issues at Grape Leaf Inn. My review is based on my experience at Camellia Inn. A sub-par property, for sure. I would still like to stay at Grape Leaf.
Disliked: Was transferred to a nearby "sister" property because Grape Leaf was experiencing water issues. The Camellia Inn was a B&B akin to Fawlty Towers (if you know, you know). Sub standard in every way and lacking hospitality and amenities. The only good thing about it was free off-street parking and it is located 2 blocks walking distance to the main square in Healdsburg.

Cozy retreat

Liked: The outdoor space was great, and it is such a cozy house. My room was beautiful, comfortable bed, breakfast was delicious. Staff was friendly. It’s within a 5 minute walk of the square, perfect location. Would stay again.
Disliked: It was great.
