The Great Tragic Resort...A Big...

Disliked: The staff and the service provided by the staff were so disappointing, unprofessional, and downright tragic. We stayed in the deluxe queen room, but there was nothing deluxe about the room. The room's electric fireplace, phone and tv were not working from the moment we checked into the room, and when we told the staff about the same then they gave us this silly and rude excuse that the fireplace does not work if the temperature of the room goes above a particular temperature which was not true as we were so cold for the first 2 hours of our stay. Then the staff gave us a different room but before we could change the room they rudely took the new room's key from us saying that they went into our existing room in our absence and saw that the room was warm enough (but still the fire place was not working and never worked for the 2 nights we stayed for which we gave extra money as that was the USP of the deluxe rooms as per their online site). They also casually told us that the room's phone can not be repaired and that was so inconvenient because for asking anything we had to walk to the reception each time instead of calling room service from our room's phone. So we had zero room service for 3 days. On the 2nd day, there was no cooked breakfast as the pipe of the kitchen was not working, so their kitchen was down and out. We will never come back to this so-called resort as this is a classic case of a property in a beautiful location but managed poorly because of an unfriendly and unprofessional staff

Pleasantly surprised

Liked: The room was clean and beds comfortable, nice to have a little balcony to sit out. Our breakfast was excellent. Very pretty location. Good value for our money.
Disliked: The buildings are a bit older, no water bottles provided in room. Walking trail was not maintained, or not the one we found.
