We had a noise problem from other guests, so they moved our room. They were all very good and understanding, though it appeared that the noisy guests had created problems on other nights and police were called out. So why, when knowing that they had a guest issue we were put in a room by the problem, I'm unsure but we were moved very quickly. Decor was a bit hit and miss in some areas and cleaning was an issue. Breakfast was wonderful. if a little slow, but great choice.

Disliked: Breakfast ruined it. All burnt sausages and bacon cremated. Toast was like a slab of concrete. Eggs poached beyond no yolk.

Liked: The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful - nothing seemed too much trouble.We loved the bar/cafe area and its decor and ambience.The bed and pillows were very comfortable
Disliked: The food service seemed slow and When the food did arrive it was warm rather than hot but it was still delicious and well presented. There wasn't anything else we didn't like.

Liked: Spacious well-equipped room with interesting view of street. Hotel has well-known bar, which generates a lively feel in what would otherwise be a rather bleak area around the station.
Disliked: Room layout not well thought out. Bath was in one half of bedroom, everything else crammed up the other end. A/C struggled to heat the large room and never really got warm.

Liked: The room was very nice staff were mostly nice
Disliked: A staff member (manager) was rude when we were booking in and the bed was very uncomfortable to sleep is the mattress was way to soft so when sitting on the bed the side boards on the frame were painful to hand my legs over, im short and disabled so it was very difficult for me, when I was in the bed it was ok but I have slept in more comfortable beds in a premier inn.

Hotel needs update and new...
