A stay of two halves..Friday...

Liked: Lovely elegant hotel. Breakfast staff and food were great. Brilliant location.
Disliked: There was loud music playing on the Saturday from 4pm until 1am. I tried calling customer services twice, no one answered. When I complained in person at reception about not being able to sleep I was offered the possibility of changing rooms. This was now midnight and not really an option. I was informed the music would finish at 1am. I don’t understand why they would place people in rooms above the music/party venue who were not attending the party.

Liked: The location was fantastic. The hotel was clean and the staff were great. The way our complaint was dealt with initially and on checking out.
Disliked: We had to move room due to the heating not working in the first room and the bed was too hard for my wife. Then after two days in the second room the heating packed up again so we were back on the space heater.

Liked: Great location. Clean & modern decor
Disliked: Reception staff did not deliver the service expected for a 4/5 star hotel. Everything asked seemed a lot of effort for them

Liked: Overall good. Great location. Great looking and comfortable bar.
Disliked: Room was smaller than expected and showed signs of wear.Service in bar was very slow and a little unwelcoming despite very few customers.
