Liked: I can’t say enough about how much I enjoyed my stay. The hotel is a stately Victorian building located in the heart of Trafalgar Square. The rooms are much larger than I expected for a London hotel. That’s not to say they were huge , no London hotel has large rooms unless you chose a suite and even then it all depends on your expectations. The staff were everything you’d hope for in old world charm..in other words customer service is alive & well here. They also offer a very large living room / library area for guests only proving a 24 hour coffee/ tea/ hot chocolate/ lattes with high tech machine . We had several different family members staying , it provided a place for us to gather either after our day of adventures or for making future plans. I found the rooms to be all I needed, powerful showers, comfortable bedding , plenty of outlets, kettle with coffee & tea supplies. Each floor has ice & purified water machines . They also offered free use of a washer & dryer which came in very handy on several occasions. When my plans take me back to London this will be the first place I look for accommodations.
