Excellent

Liked: Always a favourite with our family, the Goring did not disappoint. Staff exceptional and every wish carried out with attention to detail. Loved sitting by the roaring fire having drinks and snacks in such a cosy and welcoming atmosphere. Staff at breakfast were first rate and the food was absolutely delicious, would definitely recommend.Comfy bed and lovely complementary fruit in the room.
Disliked: Room on the small side and toiletries very strong scent that we did not like.

Good but not great

Liked: Location
Disliked: No tea making facilities in room. A tray could be requested to the room but only 2 biscuits.Breakfast expensive and not that good. I’ve stayed in cheaper 5 star hotels in London that I believe are a higher standard.

Superb

Liked: Great service and very attentive and helpful staff. You are treated with great hospitality, as you expect in such place. Legendary hotel which give you remarkable experience!
Disliked: Though you may order everything to your room, it would be great to have coffee/tea set available in the room
