Would stay here again, comfortable...

Liked: Room was lovely and warm, linen was clean, bed was very comfortable, was a nice shower and all the staff were really lovely and friendly. They gave me a free tea for takeaway in the morning.
Disliked: The room could have been a bit more clean. A few cobwebs, and the bin wasn't cleaned out. But not big issues, as everything else was perfect

A good stop off point

Liked: I stayed here as a stop off on a trip north, it is very convenient for the motorway. The staff are lovely and the room was very clean and comfortable. The only downside was that fairly basic things like a steak had ‘run out’ when I sat down for a Sunday dinner which is pretty surprising, but it is nice and does the job!

Liked: Warm welcome, very quiet bedroom at the back of the pub (room 1) with a very comfortable bed and good bathroom.Very good service at the restaurant (and very satisfactory well-priced menu), excellent generous breakfast.

Great place and great people...

Liked: The staff were, to a person, superb. They were very friendly and professional, in all aspects of the place such as the Bar and the cleaning staff.
Disliked: There's nothing that we didn't like; ok, the room furniture was showing it's age a wee bit, but that only added to the general charm of the place in our opinion.
