Exceptional

Liked: The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. The room was clean. The only little downside was that it was very hot. We couldn't turn the towel rail off, and it had been a warm few days weather wise. Thankfully, we had a fan in the room, which helped. Car parking is available at the rear of the hotel and a seating area outside for when the weather is warmer.
Disliked: Breakfast was slow on the first day, although we had been warned that due to Thirsk races being on and the hotel being rather full, to try and avoid later breakfast times.

Liked: Well appointed room even if a bit dusty around the edges.
Disliked: The bedroom floor was very noisy to walk on at night. room 2.The toilet area you couldn't swing a cat in and the door opened onto a stair case.2nd day breakfast waited over 30 mins for and when arrived the toast was burnt .
