Very convenient location for exploring...

Liked: Great location in central Boston and close to Boston metro train system. Room was clean and staff helpful. Great place for breakfast just around the corner.
Disliked: The cafe/restaurant that seems attached to the hotel provides very mediocre.

Comfortable room, great location

Liked: Excellent location in downtown, near Chinatown and Boston Common for the Freedom Trail sites. Comfortable room. Friendly staff. Strong, hot shower.
Disliked: It had been recommended on several sites as romantic and a top stay in Boston - that’s not how I would classify it at all. It was clean and modern so there was nothing wrong with it, just didn’t meet the expectations I had.

Liked: The size of the room was a good size, it was clean and warm and everything worked well. The location to get to all the main sightseeing places was perfect. It's proximity to the park great. The free snacks provided daily, including a welcome bottle of wine. The staff were really friendly, gave us free drink tokens and put out free drinks and sweets in the lobby.
Disliked: The photos in the listing I think are a little misleading. The fabulous looking bar and restaurant are connected to the hotel via and door and whilst you can charge food to your room from this restaurant etc, this isn't strictly part of the hotel. The hotel bar is actually in the hotel lobby and isn't the greatest. I booked this hotel on the basis of how amazing the facilities looked but was disappointed to understand the true relationship of the restaurant and bar. Also to note, there is no room service. Our room was very noisy over night. You could hear music from a venue nearby and people shouting in the street. Our room was on the side street that lead to the park.

Liked: Great location 2 blocks from Boston Common. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Loved the afternoon donuts and snacks. Many good restaurants and bars nearby.
Disliked: Expensive but it is downtown Boston
