Cold but acceptable

Liked: Staff were lovely and I was meeting friends there so location perfect
Disliked: Bathroom was not particularly clean No heating int he afternoon or early evening so I was freezing and had to sit under the duvet in my clothes before getting ready to go out ! I did ring the hotel ( from own phone as no phone there) and asked them to put heating on and they said they wouldAsk the manager ! Didn’t happen until the morning

We picked the wrong place...

Liked: Very friendly welcome. Nice atmosphere. Good all day breakfast.
Disliked: It was just too noisy for us. The music kept us awake until 2:20 in the morning, and then the partying in the street didn't stop until gone 3:30. We checked after just one night.

Pub in Swindon Old Town.

Liked: The Goddard Arms is in the middle of the Old Town so convenient for Swindons shops and restaurants.It has a small car park at the rear.My room, a single, was comfortable and I really liked the large shower.The breakfast was decent with plenty of choice. I went for the standard cooked breakfast. The staff were pleasant and helpful and it's somewhere I'd happily use again.
Disliked: Road noise. My room was at the front of the building facing the road. I had the window open a little but in the summer I think it could be a problem.
