A fantastic hospitable and welcoming...

Liked: Beautiful furniture. Lovely older antique and historical. A nice made to order breakfast from a menu, with coffee and juice and fruit. The staff were friendly, and caring, and treat you like family. The room was spacious and had a wonderful cozy warm fireplace. The whirlpool tub was comfortable and refreshing. The desk was a nice feature as well as the large closet with the dishes and cups and microwave and fridge. The dining area was beautiful. The breakfast had eggs or French toast etc, and had fruit each day -nice coffee and juice bar and was great. The entrance was very nice with a separate outside door we had a key for. Everything was so nice. We loved the outside porch with wicker furniture. We had a first floor room. They accommodated our needs as husband was just in hospital and stairs would have been too difficult. We had first floor, the room was decorated amazing - so quaint and comfortable . The owner was always kind and accommodating. The hotel is in a nice neighborhood. Our son and family live a flew blocks away. We had a nice stay and would stay again for sure. It was quiet and peaceful, didn’t hear the train that was nearby. Guests were quiet. I took some lovely pictures but I had difficulty downloading them so can’t share.
Disliked: The bed was a bit hard but just was an adjustment to get used to, however the mattress was so high up off the floor that it was a bit difficult to get into and out of the bed. There was really nothing else that we did not like.

Disliked: Narrow staircase to carry our luggage up to the room.

I loved the room and...

Liked: I wish I could have had their breakfast, but it only ran from 6:30 AM to 8:30 AM, but unfortunately I didn't get downstairs in time for the breakfast.It wasn't too bad getting to the place, but I went by one road because the street sign was blocked the stop sign. When I was told I passed the street by some locals, I turned around heading in the opposite direction where I could now see the street sign.
Disliked: I only regret I didn't get to enjoy their nice breakfast, but I don't remember if I was told the breakfast hours or not.

Liked: Very friendly staff!Victorian decorComfortable bedMany extra amenities that you don't expect: Glass plates and real silverware if you chose to eat in your room, as well as glass champagne flutes and corkscrew.
Disliked: I would have liked a little more lighting...it was kind of dim.

Liked: The Owners and Staff are very friendly and dedicated to ensuring guests have a great experience.The breakfast had delicious options.

Good value for the money...

Liked: Good location with ample parking. Rooms were clean, a nice size and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good.
Disliked: Steps are narrow so difficult carrying luggage. Didn’t like the jacuzzi tub in middle of room.

Cute and Welcoming Bed and...

Liked: The Globe was in a cute neighborhood close to the venue I was going to do a training. My room was cute being the Oriental Express room and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic and fixed to my liking. The owner and the chef were welcoming, and accommodated me for all my needs. If I’m back in the area, I will stay there again.
Disliked: The only thing I did not like was that they locked the door into the main room of bed-and-breakfast, I walked in the door and immediately went into my room to the right with no other gathering room.
