Quick and easy and enjoyable.
Liked: Best bath and shower on the planet. . Didn't realise breakfast was an option.
Disliked: Would have liked to have been able to watch TV from the couch.

Liked: Toilet half-flush button would jam, and it constantly flushed itself all night. Not very restful.

Glenferrie Hotel Stay
Liked: Location, well appointed rooms, comfortable, good restaurant
Disliked: There is no lift or elevator. It is extremely difficult to carry up one's luggage as there is no proactive support from the hotel.

Welcome old friend.
Liked: Location was the key reason for selecting location. Comfortable. Great bar, hotel facilities.
Disliked: As was expected for this busy location, parking is a challenge. This is okay, just a bit of patience required. Stayed her 15 years ago, and room decor is exactly the same. On the other side the downstairs outdoor bar has had a great renovation and is awesome.

Great for the purpose at...
Liked: Location was good for our needs and some good cafes and restaurants locally, room was clean and tidy and well designed. the bathroom and shower were magnificent, the best shower in Melbourne accommodation for all the time I can remember, like standing under a waterfall. It is a pub, so don't expect the same service or tranquility of an actual hotel. you can however enjoy the fact that it's a pub.
Disliked: The parking is not just available as suggested in the booking advert, there are about 12 parking spots that are also used by the staff, these are on a first come first served basis, so have a back up plan if you wish to drive, I mentioned this to reception, who did not care to change the booking description as "nobody really books through booking". I did.
