The Glasshouse Autograph Collection is a modern 5-star boutique hotel set behind the historic facade of 172-year-old Lady Glenorchy Church. A short walk from both Edinburgh Waverley Rail Station and York Place Tram Stop it features an amazing 2-acre roof garden with views over Calton Hill. Each bedroom has floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the roof terrace or over Edinburgh city center. Lovely hotel. Badly let down...

Liked: Clean Breakfast Staff
Disliked: Very uncomfortable bed. Had a mattress topper on and it was far too soft. Not sure if it was very old or just too soft

Perfect for our stay and...

Liked: It was a stunning building, very stylish entrance. The location was perfect for what we had planned. The views from the roof were excellent. The bed was very comfortable and the bedding lovely. The complimentary drinks were a very nice surprise. It was also my husband’s birthday which we did not mention but we were left delicious chocolates. We loved the outdoor seating outside our room and the option of sitting outside with drinks from the snug bar.
Disliked: Our room seemed to be specially for someone who was disabled as there was a emergency pull cord in the shower and the bathroom sink was extremely low.
