Liked: Gorgeous rooms & breakfast was amazing!
Disliked: Nothing not to like about this hotel!

Good

Liked: Close to town/the marina. Lots of restuarants nearby and a Sainsburies. Characterful hotel, decorated in the Georgian style and the room was clean. Friendly reception staff.
Disliked: Noise control in the building isn't the best, could hear people moving around upstairs/doors banging/stairs and single pane windows. To be expected if keeping the character of a building of this age. Check in is at Morgan across the road, when you walk into the Georgian, there is a bar area that is open for private events only, as it is empty doesn't feel very inviting.

Lovely hotel! Very please with...

Liked: This was a lovely stay, the bed was very comfy, had plenty of good amenities - the dressing robes were a lovely touch! Staff were so friendly! It’s a good 10 minute walk to the centre so very good location. I will say, we had breakfast the next day and it’s one of the best UK hotel breakfasts we’ve ever had. Taste, quality, service was awesome. It was a lovely stay and for a good price too! Would highly recommend.

Room in Blue Townhouse

Liked: Lovely hotel. Really beautiful. We stayed in the loft room. It was very comfortable. Just know, many many steps which may be challenging with luggage.

Liked: Main building, bar and breakfast area were lovely. Georgian rooms were characterful.
Disliked: The separate Georgian building needs a refresh. It was a bit crusty Feeling compared to the classy main building and oddly deserted. No bar even at peak hours.
