Good but not the best...

Liked: Clean, friendly, spacious, decoration was good, bed was comfortable, bathroom good, food tasty, convenient for the high street museum, pubs and alternative restaurants.
Disliked: Too many stairs/corridors to get to our room, restaurant was expensive, limited parking, there was nowhere to sit that was quiet.

Nice hotel with friendly staff

Liked: Pleasant hotel providing a clean, comfortable room. We had asked for a 'quiet' room and were pleased to be given accommodation at the rear of the hotel, rather than at the front on the main road.Staff seemed very friendly.Free car parking at the rear of the building.
Disliked: The only gripe was that the room seemed rather hot during the night despite us having the windows open.
