An ideal stop on our...

Liked: The location suited us as it was purely an overnight stop on our route home. The evening meal & breakfast were both very good. The staff were very friendly & helpful. The room was well appointed & comfortable.
Disliked: The bathroom was fine apart from the fact the toilet made a weird noise when flushing albeit only for a few seconds. An observation rather than a complaint. Our room was at the front of the hotel & there was some traffic noise through the night although Inverary is a fairly quiet town.

Exceptional

Liked: Love the George Hotel, great location, fantastic facilities, entertainment and staff.
Disliked: Food is always excellent, but I was disappointed in the homemade burger. Not as good as previous visits.

Passable

Liked: Old and pretty
Disliked: Told not to sit at empty tables in bar and that we had to stand at the bar because we were not having food.

Liked: Everything...The food was excellent , the staff were fantastic, and the room was incredible, especially the bath

Liked: Was a great place to visit. Really enjoyed ourselfs. The band was excellent.
Disliked: Room very dark to get ready in and the spot lights didn't work. We felt the menu wasn't that great for choice. All staff very helpful but one bar maid very dismissive .not very friendly with a very unhappy approach and holding a power trip of some sort. Found her very unapproachable and ruined the rest of the team who were so lovely and accommodating.

Liked: Great location, lovely hotel, fantastic selection of whisky in the bar, food exceptional and great entertainment in the bar live music from 9.30pm till midnight, in a word. Superb

Loved inverary, had been looking...

Liked: The staff were extremely friendly and could not do anymore to help. Our tv in the room wasn’t working and the receptionist went above and beyond to get something sorted for us. The hotel was also really central.
Disliked: The noise in our room, we were on the first floor and had to deal with noise from above, below and along the corridor. Also the first night we ate in the hotel restaurant, the portions were really small and the chicken was swimming in oil.
