Liked: This hotel is tired and stuck in a 1990’s time warp. Decor very dated - a shower in bath which is so dated - water pressure not good either. Room not only dated but hot (it was March!!) No coffee & tea making facilities in the room although they did offer complimentary coffee in the morning but this didn’t give us the flexibility we wanted. The room faced onto the main road and was noisy. The breakfast was disappointing - I had eggs royale - the poached eggs were overcooked and rubbery and tasted of vinegar and the hollandaise sauce was gloopy and had clearly been on the pass for a while. Service, while polite was incredibly slow . This is an expensive hotel with a great location but does not deliver for the price.
