Pleasant accomodation in Nunney but...

Liked: Although basic decor, room was clean and spacious. Bed fairly comfy but a bit low. Good choice of teas etc. Nice toiletries. Had meal in the evening which was delicious and reasonably priced. Outstanding breakfast in the morning too. All the staff very friendly.
Disliked: Although we booked a deluxe room, can't see it was worth the cost of this room. We have stayed elsewhere for less in far superior rooms than this. Bed was very low. Shower didn't work properly - could only get hot water from it. Fittings for shower very flimsy and wobbly. Bath didn't have rubber mat which really was required as quite a high bath to get in and out of. No fresh milk in room as said on description - only UHT. A lot of stairs to get to room as on 2nd floor. Small windows so couldn't see a lot. Appreciated that it was an old building so expected some quirks but all in all stayed in better period buildings for cheaper price.

Good place to stay which...

Liked: Lovely building, good food, polite staff.
Disliked: Bed was lumpy, I could feel the odd popped spring, uncomfortable and there wasn’t a stand up shower (I knew when booking about the lack of shower)

Amazing location, very friendly staff...

Liked: The room was lovely and cosy and the service was excellent. Great location. The food was excellent , nothing they couldnt provide. Very friendly staff and willing to help
Disliked: The lock had to be changed on the external bathroom as the new one did not work so this meant our bathroom could have been accessed by anyone but we understood it was not their fault.
