Rooms at the Gate Hotel all feature private bathrooms as well as cable TV a telephone and a hairdryer. The bar is open late every night until 02:30 and rooms on the first floor are affected by noise. Connolly Street Station and the vibrant Temple Bar district are both within a 10-minute walk. Dublin Castle Trinity College and Croke Park are all close by. There is a bus stop just 656 feet from the hotel which has regular services to the Dublin Airport.

Reception make calls stay very...

Liked: The reception staff was very, very nice, very polite and very supportive
Disliked: Domestic, the bed wasn’t change when we were there the floor didn’t Hoover they use dirty sheets and bedding

Very poor

Liked: Overall the room and the interior was classic and eye catching. The best thing i liked even my partner was the big screen tv.
Disliked: There is a bar/club below the hotel. We traveled on weekend so it was so noisy since we entered the room and the music and talking sound increased after 12. It was next to impossible to sleep while the heavy music and loud shouting were below us. I mean there should be Atleast a minimum decent level of soundproofing. If you are light sleeper than definitely won’t recommend this hotel.
