Liked: Location. Decent size room

Poor

Liked: The staff is very kind.
Disliked: The isolation is absolutely terrible! I can hear every single word people are saying, and it feels like I’m not even in a separate room. On top of that, the Wi-Fi on the third floor is a complete disaster—constantly disconnecting and unusable!

Ok for our needs but...

Liked: Perfect location for Manchester City Centre. Room was a good size with modern bathroom.
Disliked: Just feels a little dated. Our room was right up at the top floor with just sky lights for windows. Very strange entrance to the room (see photo).

Liked: Very central reasonably priced
Disliked: Rooms and general hotel dated. Charge for everything. Water and if want to leave luggage prior and after stay.

Poor

Disliked: The room was incredibly noisy being next to a bar that was open until after 12am. I appreciate that’s out of the hotels control but you should be warned about it, why not install double glazing?The curtains were so thin they kept out little light compounding a very poor nights sleep.The bathroom was tired and the bath in poor conditionCarpet was not at its best I appreciate it’s city centre hotel but more efforts could be made to make it a clean, quiet and restful stay

Cigarette smoke smell in room...

Liked: Location and price
Disliked: Room smelt of cigarette smoke. Complained to reception who said they were full so couldn’t offer an alternative room. When I asked if the cleaning staff checked the room shouldn’t they have noticed the smell the receptionist basically said if I continued to argue they’d throw me out!!
