Clean up your act!

Liked: The location is great, I have stayed at this property previously albeit it was a few years ago.
Disliked: It's unfortunate that such a beautiful location is being run like a ramshackle motel on the side of the freeway. The spa is closed indefinitely where this was a destination with the previous owners. ( And all communication at the hotel states Gananoque Inn & SPA ). The hotel itself has long since passed the quaintness of it's previous life and moved on to requiring some serious care. The rooms were filthy. Black finger prints on the doors, shower base and bathroom floor were quite dirty & someone had thrown toilet paper and hair in the toilet and just left it without flushing. Not the way you want to walk into a hotel room that you are planning on spending the night in! It's just such a shame to see this property in such a state. I'm sure they still see the traffic from all the cruises & tourism surrounding Gananoque but gone are the days where they have return visits for a weekend spa trip!

Liked: Was a lot of bread :(. We’d prefer at least some fruits and vegetables In a breakfast The staff was nice and responsive. At the beginning the water in toilet wasn’t flushing and the linen on one bed wasn’t clean, but it was fixed shortly
Disliked: Our room was dusty even after I asked to dust the furniture. The noise insolation is very bad. We could hear what was happening in other rooms and in the hallway. Also the water in the shower was just warm and was no way to make it warmer.
