Okay location, hotel needs some...

Liked: Very easy to get to off train or bus arrival to town. Very nice views of the bay. Weirdly industrial feeling location behind bus station.
Disliked: The first room we were given required a second lift ride after reaching the first floor. The lift arrived and the floor was covered in construction debris. Our room smelled of very fresh paint and had a view of someone's back garden bins. We went to return to the desk to request a room that wasn't smelly, and the lift arrived full of rolls of used carpet and no people. Very strange to have guests coming and going among construction. The desk was very pleasant and gave us another room that was not recently painted. It had a lovely view, but the plumbing (especially toilet flushing) was very iffy. The coffee was only ever replenished with decaffeinated. Windows let in a lot of road noise. Finally, we parked a car one night in the garage (but stayed four nights) and staff was VERY confusing about giving instructions for using the tickets to get in and out of the garage. Did not have breakfast, so can't comment on value.

Liked: Overall the experience was great. Location is excellent. Breakfast was amazing. Very plush surroundings, luxurious feel. Pool was well managed & maintained.
Disliked: My only negative was my experience for dinner in Cooper's Restaurant. Food & surroundings were amazing. However the customer centric skills of the Restaurant staff left a sour taste. Not interested in the customer, not focused on the job. I had to approach a member to order my dessert, left sitting for 45mins after my dinner, never came down to us. We were seated at the rear of the restaurant. Only seemed brothered with larger group sittings.!
