The hotel was clean and the staff friendly and located near to the Bath Forum, which is why we chose it.

Disliked: Staff is too busy and the customer services is below what I expected. At the checking in I was made to wait despite the fact you can check in from 3pm. The room had bad smell although it looked like it was just cleaned. The spa was so busy on the first day it was not pleasant to use. On the 2nd day I got up early to try and avoid the crowd only to find out due to a small crack in the glass ceiling the spa was closed, understandably considering H&S but what was not OK was the sarcastic comment from the receptionist after she bothered asking how was my stay and I have answered honestly giving her a feedback. I've realised she was not looking for a feedback but an artificia positive answer. She would definitely not get a good ratings in her customer services skills. I definitely didn't feel welcomed or cared about. It was more transactional than anything else.

Liked: The ambience, the location, the Christmas decoration and smell. The decor and cleanliness. Kindness of the staff.
Disliked: The windows let in a draught and you can hear a lot of the outdoor traffic / bottle banks being emptied. There was also a loud electric buzz coming from within the wall between the bathroom and bedroom that we couldn’t locate or turn off.
